• What is a sensory building?
At Sensory UK Ltd we have integrated our technology in to the very
fabric of a modern, adaptable structure to give you a seamless easy to
manage therapeutic environment.
Our sensory buildings can be used:
• Free standing outdoors
• As an outdoor extension to an existing building
• As a very robust internal pod
• Why modular?
Our innovative design and building system means we can construct our sensory rooms to meet your exact needs and desires, both inside and
out. We do not fit you in to our buildings; our modular buildings are
tailored to fit you.
• What is it made of?
Steel framed with insulated aluminium panels and/ or glazing, meeting
the very latest standards for insulation and quality assurance.
• What colour are they?
What colour would you like? The powder-coated paint we use can be
produced in virtually any colour you care to choose. You can also
specify more than one colour on a single building, both inside and out.
o Paint finishes include matt, satin, gloss and metallic.
• What sizes are available?
We can design, manufacture and install whatever size you require, no
space is to small or to large for us to accommodate.
• How durable are they?
Very durable. The modular buildings come with a 25-year guarantee.
Many of the component parts have been tested to relevant British
standards or have been industry approved. Please call for more details.
• Are they environmentally friendly?
Yes we believe so. The steel and aluminium components have an
extremely long working life, at the end of which they are 90%
recyclable.
We use high performance insulation, which has a zero ozone depletion
potential and a global warming potential of 3, (well below the set target of 5).
We have carefully chosen the materials used in our modular buildings
for their effectiveness and durability. This means the maintenance
requirement throughout their life is very low, so as well as saving you
time, we have minimised any need for harmful preservative or repair treatments.
